Trusted Companion Services of America provides a variety of standard services aimed at making sure your loved ones (our client) are engaged and socially active.
Conversational Services
Our Trusted Companion will engage the client in conversations. After gaining background information regarding the client’s likes and dislikes, our Trusted Companions are prepared to discuss issues that are of interest to the client. They are also updated on current events, history, the arts, and music, just to name a few.
Playing Games
Our Trusted Companions have been trained on how to encourage client participation in games and social activities to help the client maintain their cognitive and social skills.
Reading
Our Trusted Companions are training to read with or for the client and are trained in different methods in order to provide a more pleasurable reading experience.
Letter Writing
Our Trusted Companions are there to assist in basic letter writing for the client. The Trusted Companion will assist the client in developing their letter (s), including proofreading as requested. The Trusted Companion can also assist the client with handwriting or typing letters as requested.
Creative Expression
Our Trusted Companions are trained to assist client with developing their creative expression. Creative expression includes, but is not limited to, assisting the client with drawing, painting, and sketching, etc.
Watching Movies/Television
Our Trusted Companions are trained to engage client with viewing, discussing characters, plots, outcomes, likes and dislikes of the program watched. This will help assist the client with sustaining cognitive skills.

Pick-up and Delivery
Upon the request of the payee, the Trusted Companion will pick up and deliver item (s) as requested.
Gift Services
Upon the request of the payee, the Trusted Companion will pick-up and deliver gift (s) as requested.
Picture taking
The Trusted Companion will assist the client with sorting, taking, developing, and sending pictures.
FaceTime & Skyping
Our Trusted Companion can arrange a FaceTime or Skype session to communicate with you.
Specialized Services
Recording Services are designed to preserve your love one’s personal and family history. A professionally trained interviewer will be assigned to your case. The interviewer works collaboratively with the interviewee to elicit a comprehensive and chronological perspective of the interviewee’s life.
Life recording packages can include:
• Individual and family histories are stories gathered and recorded on professional DVDs, CDs, print narratives and
multimedia formats
• Recordings are planned, researched, and prepared
• Production and post-production work, e.g. professional oral history interviewing, design, packaging and
distribution, are priced in advanced
