Wayne is a strategy and operations executive with over 20 years of senior leadership experience, including most recently the VP of Occupational Health & Wellness. Throughout his career as an Operations Executive with Bank of America, Wayne provided thoughtful, analytical, and confident leadership while building a consistent record of achievements in operational, revenue/profit, and customer experience goals. Wayne's executive leadership responsibilities include directing diverse teams, driving strategies for multiple functional areas and operations, and creating solutions for key business issues. Wayne has progressed through increasingly responsible positions and duties while achieving positive results each step of the way. 

Quantifiable achievements have included multimillion-dollar revenue and profit gains, breakthrough customer satisfaction improvements, and increases in process efficiency. Wayne maintained an effective balance between innovation and pragmatism in order to achieve these goals, along with a tireless dedication to team and partnership building. Wayne earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Iowa as well as an MBA in Finance and Operations Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Wayne is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and holds a certificate in Supply Chain Management & Logistics from Georgia Tech's Supply Chain and Logistics Institute and is engaged in continual research and learning as part of his continuing education goals.

Carol has a Master's Degree in Applied Behavioral Psychology from Adelphi University, Garden City, New York. She has over 30 years of experience in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Carol has served as a member of the treatment team to determine the best placement facilities for adults in care. Throughout her career, Carol has worked in several settings, including inpatient and outpatient behavioral health programs. She has worked as a Residential Specialist in the State of Texas for over 20 years and as an administrator of several adult care facilities. As a parent of a special needs adult, she has always worked to protect the unprotected in our society and to ensure that patrons receive the best service possible. Carol works tirelessly to improve care facilities and developed legislation to ensure that low-income parents could obtain child care so they could sustain gainful employment, knowing their children were in a safe and nurturing environment. Carol's experience has helped to develop rules and regulations ensuring vulnerable clients receive necessary services and support, which are needed to live protected and productive lives. She has committed her life to ensuring that all people in care facilities develop their unique voice, maintain positive relationships, and remain connected to their loved ones. Carol is guided by her unwavering belief in people's ability to achieve their greatest potential.
Dr. Johnson has over thirty-five years in educational administration in managing, planning, training, organizing, and networking. Dr. Johnson has over thirty-six years of community service. He earned his Master’s in Counseling and Educational Leadership Postsecondary Education and doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of Northern Iowa. His focus is on developing best practices regarding the social, emotional and development of human capital. Dr. Johnson is known both nationally and internationally for his grant writing, budgeting, fundraising, training, networking, and political engagement skills. Dr. Johnson has focused his career on building complex system analysis to ensure that his processes meet expected outcomes. 

He serves on numerous local, state, and national boards, committees, and organizations designed to assist the greatest needs of America. For his work, Dr. Johnson has received numerous awards and honors, such as State of Iowa Citizen of the Year, Facilitator, Men of Excellent Conference, Facilitator, Educational Opportunity Association Institute for the Advancement of Leadership, Civic Action Planning Institute Graduate, Faculty Educational Opportunity Association Institute for the Advancement of Leadership, Chaired the Iowa Commission of the Status of African American, Waterloo Community Foundation Executive Board Member, Allen College & Hospital Employment Arbitrator, United Way Campaign Cabin Member and Allen College IRB Member, just to mention a few. 

Dr. Johnson's background and ability to build collaborative teams has afforded him the opportunity to develop the greatest human and financial capital needed to support his initiatives to maximize equity, improve educational experience to ensure matriculation in educational environments. He believes that the true way to level the playing field is to provide the foundation and tools necessary to obtainment a quality education.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a Masters’ of Science, School of Social Work, specialized in behavioral health sciences, treatment and practices. James currently serves as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Alternative Strategies in Behavioral Health, a privately held behavioral healthcare firm with initiatives in developing the methodology for integrating behavioral health services and TeleMental Health services. Additionally, James developed a proposal to reduce the number of individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues incarcerated at Cook County Jail by employing a collaborative model. Previous experience includes conducting a number of research projects designed to evaluate the managed health care readiness for several independently funded federal health care organizations. James assisted in the development of a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) and served as the Director of the organization's Provider Relations office and served as program manager for a number of community mental health centers that included services for severely emotionally disturb (SED) children, adolescents, and their families.

Other successes include, but are not limited to:

  • Organizing and founding Specialty Care Development of America Inc., a prepaid behavioral healthcare firm that marketed its services to health insurance subscribers and their families. In this role, James was responsible for managing the day-to-day affairs of the corporation which included: strategic planning, product development, forecasting, fiscal management and reporting. 
    •   Obtaining one of the nation's first specialized Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) license and setting up nine                affiliated organizations nationwide.
  • Developing the pricing strategy and model for recruiting hospitals and physicians in three states
  • Negotiating contractual relationships with Health Maintenance Organizations, Preferred Provider Organizations, insurance carriers, county and municipal governments, labor unions and commercial sector accounts contracts
  • Establishing service protocols that governed utilization management, benefit administration, information management, customer services and continuous quality improvement standards.
  • Serving over 350,000 lives in Illinois and 150,000 in Ohio and Indiana
  • Managing risk-based revenue in excess of $7.5M and non-risk based revenue in excess of $40M
